Sorry for not posting anything earlier! I was just really busy! So here are the articles for today!

United Press International: Menudo join Jonas Bros. tour
NEW YORK, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- The five new members of the reconstituted Latin pop group Menudo are scheduled to go on tour with the Jonas Brothers starting at the end of this month.

A representative for the revamped group said new Menudo members Carlos, Chris, Emmanuel, Jose and Monti will open for the Jonas Brothers on two dates in Dallas, as well as at gigs in Hildalgo, Texas, Lafayette, La., and Orlando, Fla.

Menudo is also slated to perform at the upcoming NBA Orlando Magic Kids Day and scheduled to take part in the festivities at Calle Ocho, a street party and highlight of Carnaval Miami.

The group is expected to soon announce plans for its upcoming spring and summer tour.

Seattle PI: Jonas Brothers give young fans something to scream about
[FULL ARTICLE]
Arena rock concerts are loud. But Jonas Brothers fans are louder.

Imagine, if you will, the girl who's in all of those slasher films who, when the attacker/monster appears, lets out a blood-curdling scream that pierces the inner ear like a hot knitting needle. Now, imagine about 10,000 teen and preteen girls screaming and screeching, uninterrupted, in unison, in much this same fashion.

Can a band be measured by its fans? No. But these fans are certainly remarkable. For instance, not a lot of men, or boys for that matter, were at the Events Center on Tuesday night. In fact, there probably were about 10 of us there (besides the band).

Of course every generation has their own boy band: 'N Sync, Boys II Men, NKOTB, Menudo. Not everyone was lucky enough to have the Beatles, but it was exactly that kind of mania that met the Jonas Brothers Tuesday. Many of these girls and young women, when they weren't screaming, sang along to the songs that filled out the hour-and-a-half set.

Denver WestWord: The Sugar Pop of the Jonas Brothers
If you're a (really) nice girl between the ages of six and sixteen, you probably get twitterpated at the very thought of the Jonas Brothers, the latest commercial triumph from the marketing geniuses at the Walt Disney Company. Unfortunately, none of the journalists who participated in a January 29 teleconference with the boys fit that description. As a result, the hour-long session wound up revealing more about mainstream-media entertainment coverage than it did about Kevin, Joe and Nick, the three Jonai.

The budding hunksters are certainly keeping accountants busy. In addition to their current headlining jaunt, which has sold out at arenas coast to coast, they're prominently featured in Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour, a movie commemorating their 2007 appearances with Cyrus that saw parents ponying up the price of a snowmobile to get their little darlings into the spectacle. (Those who couldn't afford that fee helped the flick top the box office in its opening weekend, earning an astonishing $29 million.) They've also got a new CD coming out in the next several months. And they're set to star in Camp Rock, a Disney Channel offering airing this summer that the House of Mouse hopes will cha-ching on par with High School Musical.

Fox 12 Oregon: Review: 'Hannah' 3-D Concert Film Hits Right Notes

Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert' (G)***(out of four)
As an adult sitting through the 3-D Hannah Montana concert film, it's impossible not to be overwhelmed - but not by the piercing screech of thousands of frantic 9-year-olds, the crisp digital imagery or the catchiness of the Disney star's peppy tunes.
Rather, the sensation is one of longing: You wish desperately for Miley Cyrus, the singing, dancing, songwriting, trendsetting dynamo, to avoid turning into Britney Spears.
She's insanely likable and talented, with poise and presence beyond her years. It's all out there in front of her, and watching the 15-year-old on stage and behind the scenes, you just pray that she'll turn out all right, and not get swept away by the insanity of pop-star celebrity. (In theory, having her mom and dad, the formerly mulleted Billy Ray Cyrus, around at all times provides some structure and guidance.)

Kansas City Star: Hearing shrieks for the Jonas Brothers

[FULL ARTICLE]
I like to think I have my finger on the pulse of what 20- and 30-something hipster types are listening to. Not so much on the bubble-gum pop that mall rats favor. That stuff gives me hives. So my Jonas Brothers knowledge was admittedly superficial back in the fall.

Adorable, teen siblings singing upbeat pop? Sniff, sniff. Smells like Hanson.

But I really took heed in December when the Jo Bros inspired the most fanatical response of the day at Kiss-FM's Jingle Bell Bash. The hordes of preteen girls gathered at the Tacoma Dome let loose with shrieky frequencies known to be lethal to small animals (and, in rare cases, humans with weak tickers.)

It was deja vu. I'd witnessed that sort of swooning mania before, inspired by the Backstreet Boys, Fall Out Boy - probably some other "boys" I've successfully purged from memory.

And last week, the Jo Bros launched their first major arena tour, fresh from opening for scalpers' godsend, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus.

And you don't have to beat me over the head with it. We're witnessing a huge pop-culture phenomenon on the rise. And it's time to brush up on all things Jonas-related, if nothing else to figure out what's turning all those little girls into giddy lunatics. (I think it has something to do with the Jo Bros' cool hair.)

Seattle Times: Growing up with the Jonas Brothers
[FULL ARTICLE]
Scores of vans dropped off little girls linked arm in arm, wearing homemade shirts and carrying posters declaring their love for the Jonas Brothers. Tuesday's concert at the Comcast Arena in Everett was one of the first ticks on their young timelines. So much so, that after their voices were hoarse from screaming and the night was over, they hugged and starting crying.

It was a night of growing pains and growing up. Not just for the audience, but for the performers.

The fast-rising pop rock trio the Jonas Brothers has raced from performing at the Puyallup Fair just this past September to headlining their own tour. Tuesday night marked their first sold-out arena show.

They've grown as stars. When they opened for the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana show at KeyArena in October, they were just beginning to break out. Now, the brothers have developed star personas and poses — the rock-star lip sneer, the mic serenade, the photo op with all three in line and the knee-slide across stage. The youngest, Nick Jonas, even added, "You're all absolutely beautiful."

PR-USA.NET: TEEN MUSIC PHENOMENON, THE JONAS BROTHERS, AND HEALTH ADVOCATE SARAH FERGUSON, THE DUCHESS OF YORK,
[FULL ARTICLE]
ESE Foods, a division of East Side Entrées, announced that it has enlisted teen music phenomenon, the Jonas Brothers, and wellness advocate Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, as spokespeople for the national launch of Breakfast BREAKS, a nutritious grab-and-go breakfast kit for children. Modeled after the popular breakfast kit that East Side Entrees provides to federally funded School Breakfast Programs throughout the country, the retail version of Breakfast BREAKS was launched in January and is currently available at major retailers nationwide.
The Breakfast BREAKS launch campaign aims to promote the retail product while also raising awareness about the importance of serving children a nutritious breakfast. Studies have shown that children who eat breakfast perform better in school and have overall better health than those who skip breakfast. Both the Jonas Brothers and the Duchess will be featured on a new version of the Breakfast BREAKS box which will appear on shelves in February.

"We're on the road a lot and need to stay energized so we know how important breakfast is to starting the day," said Kevin Jonas on behalf of his brothers, Joe and Nick. "We're excited to bring this message to kids across the country and let them know that Breakfast BREAKS is an awesome product."

Herald Net: Jonas Brothers bring down the house in Everett
[FULL ARTICLE]
EVERETT -- The Jonas Brothers played loud.

The crowd screamed much, much louder.

During a reportedly sold-out show Tuesday night, the Disney-friendly trio brought roughly 7,500 people to their feet for a solid 90-minute set.

The three siblings have become a phenomenon in a matter of months. After their first album flopped on Columbia Records in 2006, the group signed with Hollywood Records -- a Disney company -- to release their self-titled follow-up. It went platinum in about four months during late 2007.

Now, the trio is packing places like the Comcast Arena at the Everett Events Center, a fact on ear-shattering display Tuesday night.

When the group took the stage, a wall of sound erupted from the mainly young and female audience. The three brothers rose through holes in the floor and, while standing, slid down a slide. Backed by column-like video monitors, they launched into one of their biggest hits to date, a cover of "Year 3000."

The three brothers -- Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20 -- showed the type of energy you'd expect from young guys being screamed at by girls. They smiled, nonstop. They ran around and struck poses. Joe Jonas, who sings lead, did a cartwheel.

Can't wait to post more articles up tomorrow! Especially they ones form Oregon! As I'm typing this JB is probably still performing, or something close to that. BUT, they are still in the same state as me! AHH! Lucky, my friends are going. Ugh. I'll try to post videos if I find them. And I'll search for pictures and articles from it (:
