Trans World News: Jonas Brothers Take 'Look Me In The Eyes' Tour To The Fox
The Jonas Brothers continue their ‘Look Me In The Eyes’ tour through North America with a stop in Detroit, Michigan on Feb. 23 as they perform at the Fox Theatre.
The trio kicked off their world tour in Tucson, AZ on Jan. 31 and have since played in front of sold out shows in each city they have hit. Prior to their show in Michigan the Jonas Brothers will be at the Allstate Arena in Rosedale, IL on Feb. 22.
The Jonas Brothers, comprised of Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas, played a series of shows with Miley Cyrus as part of her Hannah Montana “Best of Both Worlds” tour.
With two albums out and a strong fan base the brothers should have little trouble creating the same buzz Cyrus has attracted. Their recently announced tour is expected to keep them on the road for two years.----------
Desert Morning News: Jonas Brothers Thrill Fans - And Even Some Parents
At first it was hard to hear the music at the Jonas Brothers concert Friday. The reason was the screams.
The audience, mostly made up of girls ages 5 through 18, let their voices loose as the brothers — Joe, Nick and Kevin — rose up from the stage's third tier to sing "Year 3000."
The screaming became louder as the trio, backed by a guitarists, a bassist, a keyboardist and a drummer, slid down some transparent ramps to their microphones on the lower level.
Although the sound mix was hard to hear, the audience sang the words loud and clear.
Joe Jonas strutted the stage and fell to his knees a few times throughout the performance, giving the audience reason to scream some more. Nick and Kevin Jonas spent a lot of time on their guitars, but Nick also ventured off to play the drums during a couple of drum duets. He also played the baby grand piano during other segments of the evening.
The stage tiers were bordered with LED screens that flashed videos and abstract neon designs that highlighted the songs.
Staple Jonas tunes such as "Hold On," "Games," "Hello Beautiful" and "Just the Way We Roll," all taken from the group's self-titled album, were given some new life with dynamic intro arrangements.----------

The topic was inevitable. It always comes up in conversations about cute boy bands. Hair.
A bunch of reporters were on a conference call with the Jonas Brothers, the newest teen idols in the burgeoning Disney stable of pop stars. And a woman from, naturally, Tiger Beat magazine, asked how much longer the three brothers are going to grow their hair.
"I just cut my hair, all gone," announced Nick Jonas, knowing that his curly mop is a hot topic on fan websites.
His brothers, on separate phone lines, sounded shocked.
"Kidding!" Nick said. "I cut it shorter. It was getting pretty long. And finally I woke up one morning and I was like ready to cut it. So we start fresh in the new tour, and premiering the new hair."----------
Show Biz- The Jonas Brothers Give Fans A Peek Into Backstage Life
The Jonas Brothers give fans a peek into backstage life in the music video for their new single.
The vid for When You Look Me in the Eyes sees the teen pin ups signing autographs, doing interviews and playing guitars on a bed. It also shows them performing live on stage in front of screaming fans and traveling from place to place on a tour bus.
The video, filmed in black and white, was shot at concerts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Somerville, Massachusetts.
The song is the third single to be taken from the band’s self-titled second album, Jonas Brothers.
Some fans claim that a childhood friend of Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas was the inspiration for the tune.----------
Idolator: Jonas Brothers Latest Artist To Possibly Bring Down EMI
[
FULL ARTICLE]
If the frenzy at last year's Jingle Ball is any indication, the Jonas Brothers are just about the only thing in the music industry right now with earning potential, which is probably why Disney isn't about to take any chances with their upcoming album. Under pressure from the brothers' management team, Disney is reportedly shopping around for a different international distributor for said record, thanks to uncertainty surrounding the Mouse's longtime partner EMI.----------
PJ Star: Who Are The Jonas Brothers?
[
FULL ARTICLE]
Ask anyone who the Jonas Brothers are, and you'll likely get bombarded with many different answers.
For starters, the brothers (Kevin, 20; Joe, 18; and Nick, 15) are the latest pop sensation to make teenage hearts swoon, and they cause journalists the nation over to line up like cattle to participate in conference calls. Their shows sell out in minutes, and they inspire venues like the Peoria Civic Center to reinstate an old-school bracelet policy designed to outsmart pesky scalpers who prey on prime seats.
The Jonas Brothers will roll in to the Peoria Civic Center arena on Sunday, and if you didn't nab tickets to the concert, you can catch the band in the 3D film "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour," now playing in area theaters. One Jonas Brother can even be seen munching in a mall food court on an amateur YouTube video titled "KEVIN JONAS IN THE SYRACUSE MALL!!!" (assuming it's really him).----------
PJ STAR: Guest Reporter Gets The Scoop On Jonas Brothers
[
FULL ARTICLE]
The minute I learned that the Jonas Brothers were coming to Peoria, I knew I was going to that concert.
My best friend Andrea and I stood in line at the Civic Center to get our tickets early on a Saturday morning and screamed when we saw that our tickets said front row!
I didn't think my Jonas Brothers experience could get any better than that, but I was so wrong.
Because my dad works at the Journal Star, I thought it might be worth it to ask him if I could do a little story for the newspaper about the Jonas Brothers. Little did I know I would be interviewing one of them!----------
Courier Press: Jonas Brothers- Real Success Outside 'Montana'
[
FULL ARTICLE]
If 2007 was the year of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, 2008 might be the year of the Jonas Brothers.
At least, the teenaged pop-rock act seems to have all the pieces in place for a breakthrough of "Montana-mental" proportions
"We're very excited about this tour," Kevin Jonas said in a late January teleconference interview.
"It's our first time where we actually have some type of production on the tour, instead of just three risers and, you know, our instruments.
"We remember a year ago, we were in a van and that's how we traveled — no buses, no trucks or anything — and it was kind of just starting from the ground up. And now, a year later, we have a sold-out tour; it's really exciting. And we're just really blessed."----------
El Paso Times: Jonas Brothers Dazzle 2,400 Screaming Girls
[
FULL ARTICLE]
Ever heard 2,400 girls scream? It hurts your ears. You can't concentrate. And it makes it hard to hear the music.
Well that's how it was Monday night at the Abraham Chávez Theatre when hot boy band the Jonas Brothers came into town as part of the Look Me in the Eyes Tour.
It was nonstop, piercing screams, girls singing to every song and dancing in the aisles throughout the two-and-a-half-hour concert.
The girls came with funky caps and T-shirts they had personalized with their favorite brother. Some said "Future Mrs. Jonas."
"They are the greatest band in the universe," said Claudia Morin, 12, from East Montana Middle School. "This is crazier than the RBD concert."
The brothers, Kevin 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, began with perhaps their most famous song, "Year 3000."
Dressed in black, the boys gave their outfits a personal touch. Nick had a shiny white jacket, Joe a gold one and Kevin just a shirt and pants. With each swing of their shoulder-length locks, especially from Joe and Nick, their fans couldn't contain themselves.----------
OKay, that was very long. It's just make up work for basically the day's I've missed posting these articles. Some aren't psoted on here because have already been posted on my site.
